Thank you for inquiring about Camelot Weimaraners. My name is Susan Thomas and I have been breeding Weims for thirty years. I breed for temperament and a dog that is true to the Weimaraner Standard. I am not interested in breeding Great Dane size Weimaraners or dogs so hyper that you can not live with them. Intelligence is also rated highly in my consideration of dogs to breed. I am on the board of directors of the Yankee Weimaraner Club, past President and Vice President and also a member of the Weimaraner Club of America and the Springfield Kennel Club (an all breed club).
I have competed with my dogs in breed, field and obedience, having reached top ten status nationally in all three areas. I owned the only mother-daughter dual Champions (Show and Field combined) in the history of the Weimaraner Breed. I also have a Weimaraner, which was inducted into the Hall of Fame. I guarantee my Weimaraners for good hips. All my stock is OFA certified, with most receiving Good and Excellent ratings. I will replace or refund cost (your choice) should a pup have a hip problem. I do not require you to return the original dog.

I believe in giving pups the “Head Start” program to increase their intelligence and trainability. At a young age I teach them to climb stairs and learn to pose on a table. In the good weather they go outside and learn simple agility and learn to swim in my pond on the property. They wear baby life preservers. You can see them on my website camelotweimaraner.com or camelotpetresort.net. My Camelot weimaraners are well known for their excellent temperaments.

I require that someone be home during the day to housebreak a young puppy and that they either have a fenced in back yard or commit to always being outside when the dog is out. All my pet pups are sold with AKC limited registration. This does not limit anyone from obedience and other non-breeding events, only from breeding the pup or reselling the pup for a breeding purpose. Limited Registration is reversible, should the pup turn out to be show quality and the owner is willing to sign an ethical breeding agreement based on the Weimaraner Club of America code of ethics.
